Steps to Build Cinder Block Fire Pit
- Gather your supplies – cinder blocks, sticks, dry leaves, and lighter fluid.
- Stack the cinder blocks in a rectangle formation, about 5 high by 3 wide. Be sure to stack the cinder blocks around the edges of your fire pit on top of each other.
- Begin constructing the fire pit by stacking the sticks around the fire pit.
- Cut your dry leaves into long strips and pile them up around the sticks in the fire pit.
- Light your lighter and use it to ignite all of your dry leaves. This will help start the fire without too much work from you.
- As the burning gets going, add combustible material by mixing in the dry leaves and sticks.
- Soon your whole backyard will be filled with a fireplace-like smell!
- For a nice effect, add some tree branches to the fire pit. Get creative and have fun! It will be something you and your friends will remember forever.
