Method 2: Using Pumice Stone
A pumice stone is an excellent tool for scrubbing away hard water stains, especially if they are deeply set in the porcelain. Pumice is abrasive but soft enough not to scratch the surface of the toilet.
Steps:
- Soak the Pumice Stone: Before starting, soak the pumice stone in water for a few minutes to soften it.
- Scrub Gently: Using gentle pressure, scrub the stained areas of the toilet bowl. Make sure both the stone and the area you are cleaning are wet to avoid scratching.
- Rinse and Check: Once the stains have been removed, flush the toilet to rinse out any debris and inspect for any remaining marks.
Why It Works:
Pumice stone is porous and abrasive, allowing it to physically scrub off the mineral deposits without damaging the porcelain surface.
