Let us face it: we probably spend too much time on Facebook.
The social network has become a huge part of our lives. So much so, that some people’s jobs depend on it (we are looking at you, social media managers). It is only fair to admit the amount of time we spend browsing, liking and sharing is probably too much.
The team over at Optify, a digital marketing agency, looked at the large number of people using Facebook and considered that they can be split into 9 different user categories. They explained this is a very fun, interesting infographic. We are bound to have the Stalker, the Baby Boomer, the Newbie, the Over-Sharer, the Brand Promoter, the Fearful User, the Curator, the Gamer and the Non-User among our friends – even ourselves can fall into one of these categories.
The infographic presents these types of users among with some statistical data about each group, and some fun facts that may interest you.
